Held at Capitol Modern in downtown Honolulu, I was one of ten designers that featured their work at the 2026 UHM Graphic Design Showcase titled, "Emerge". Every year, students in the program hold their showcase working together to choose a title, theme, and its graphics. Although I was not a part of the showcase design team, my classmates Siena Bulagay, Amber Guerrero, Chrystal Quiros, Davan Rooney, and Tyler Yoshikawa did an amazing job designing showcase materials. I was given my own space to display my work, featuring more than ten projects over my two years in the Graphic Design program, all seen in my portfolio. Below is the showcase description:
Emerging designers celebrate the work they’ve accomplished by bringing together their various viewpoints and unique styles into one show. EMERGE explores the creative journey ten designers have taken and shaped, to reflect their growth and readiness for any design challenge they face.
