Alaka‘ina Perinatal Resources is a proposed identity for a five-year grant that seeks to address perinatal health outcome disparities among Native Hawaiian families. I created a logo inspired by nature and nurturing care, represented by kalo leaves and hearts. These symbols reflect the project's goal of creating the pathway or map for healthcare providers, guiding those in need to resources quickly and easily.
In addition to the logo, I developed a comprehensive brand style guide that outlines the visual identity system—including color palette, typography, logo anatomy, variations, usage applications, and more—to ensure consistency across all communications.
